I wanted to capture that specific moment when the sky and the meadow seem to glow from the sun's light and those rays rising over the meadow, echoed in the gold of the flowers below. This piece began at the edge of lake Superior in Grand Marais MN at golden hour. I mixed with another reference photo of wildflowers that I had been saving for a while. They were calling to me to add them together in this composition.  Watching light break through a sweep of streaked clouds and pour across a field thick with wildflowers.

No frame 1.5" sides are painted as a gallery wrap.
