Waterlilies have always been fascinating to me. Ponds are so full of life and energy. Waterlilies live between two worlds above and below. They are the peaceful mediator between these two worlds physically and spiritually. In this painting I wanted the water to be clear and the fish and lilies to be suspended with only the shadows to give a clue to its existence.
