Stillness and balance. This piece focuses on a carefully stacked tower of north shore stones I stacked while watching the sun gently fade over the horizon. Creating this work was deeply meditative, inspired by the quiet rhythm of arranging stones combined with the calm presence of watching the sun set. Through subtle shifts in blues, grays, and purples in the stones, alongside the soft glow of the horizon, I aimed to capture a moment of peaceful transition—an invitation to pause, breathe, and find harmony within nature’s quiet rhythms.
