To my delight, I came across this one Sand Cherry tree growing as a thin tall tree in the woods next to the lake.  The seeds must have been deposited by a small animal many years ago and is surviving amongst the other trees in the woods. The red leaves were illuminated by the beams of sun light shining through the canopy making it a red shining star in the woods
